Excellent interview.
I remember the first time I saw a SR-71 in the flesh.
It was at AAFB Guam in the mid 70's. The whole base shut down, there
was not a vehicle moving when it landed or took off. It was stunning!
I also watched them do ops at Kadena. It was weird to say the least.
They had the engines running and taxied out of the hanger straight to
the runway, no turns, no towing. Truly an amazing machine. No other plane
I ever saw started engines inside a hanger!
Bummer they are all museum pieces now.

hmmmm, Happy claimed to be a teenager, beating up UNH students in the 70's('when you went to school', etc). Now, he's put himself on Guam. Anyone else smell bullshit?
