well within margins of error. I have no horse in the race, my family having left the island in 1663. Still, I find it interesting. Saw the same breakdown as you, but with the YES votes sneaking up daily, and in what is most instructive for Americans, damn near 100% of the eligible citizenry registered to vote.

A pretty good chunk of blood that runs through my veins is Scottish. Clan Graham of Montrose. Our line goes back to Sir John de Graham and "Bonnie" Dundee.
We're not ancient Canadians, it was my great grandparents that got off the boat.
But the idea of an independent Scotland just doesn't feel right to me for some reason. I think the ramifications could be pretty bad. The trickle down could get very, very messy.

The finances are only half of it. The dept and the possible conversion to the Euro can be worked out.

Think about what will happen in Spain if Scotland become independent.
