Pretty Cool
....yesterday, Obama was in town here for a while. Gave a speech and then had lunch at a restaurant about a mile from my house. I've been eating at that place, a burger joint named the Charcoal Pit, for about 50 years. In fact, my Dad and I were there this past Monday for lunch. Obama ordered the same thing my dad had. I would've tried to get him to split a Kitchen Sink sundae with me. I used to split them with my local buddies in high school. It consists of 20 scoops of ice cream, crushed pineapple, wet walnuts, crushed cherries, 4 bananas, chocolate syrup, peanuts and a ton of whipped cream. Yum.
