Yup....read his "cred's" then apply them to the total oil output of 11,600 barrels of oil the Ukrainian Company "produced" last year.

Re: Nice
that was in our local paper.......got a big ho-hum around here. Hunter just got a job that likely pays pretty little(compared to the compensation he already gets), to help them START down the road to greater production. So what?
Re: Nice
The "what" is the total production...there and it's laughable, if ya understand the math...which, ya don't. Increasing "said" production by 3000 barrels....causes an abdominal cramping sensation from my excessive laughter. So, yeah and sure....Biden driving them down the alley of success...damn, I'm cramping again.....callmeslick wrote:that was in our local paper.......got a big ho-hum around here. look, what they have now is negligible. Yes, raising negligible by a little bit isn't much of nothing. I think, as I read the local paper, the firm is supposed to be helping the Ukranians on longer term planning to get them more independance from Russia YEARS from now. You have to start someplace. Now, what industrial expertise Hunter brings is likely nil, but being from here(corporate center of the US), he has the connections to put together some big players(petrochem companies, refliners, financial players, etc, etc) He'll earn his keep, I suspect.Pudfark wrote:The "what" is the total production...there and it's laughable, if ya understand the math...which, ya don't. "He'll" earn his "gratuity" from riding the coattails of his daddy...with the knowing "wink-wink-nod" of you and the rest of the "Dims". He brings as much to "the game" as Kim Kardashian does....cept, her teats are bigger.

he's a very solid business lawyer, by all reports. It's not like he really needed the job, but might have been persuaded by those in politics who wish to channel all available private US resources to help the Ukraine while the Legislative Branch of Government dithers and tries to tie official aid to stuff like the ACA, and other domestic political crap. That went unstated in the article I read, but those were my thoughts, and my dad concurred when I was talking to him earlier. I'm sure Joe has some input here, but less by way of getting Hunter a job, as much as seeking Hunter to accomplish something for the admin.Pudfark wrote:"He'll" earn his "gratuity" from riding the coattails of his daddy...with the knowing "wink-wink-nod" of you and the rest of the "Dims". Like I said...ridin' on daddy's coattails.... It'd be better PR, if'n he ran a lemonade stand there.
I hear...the Russians don't like lemonade...though they do like energy a bit, more.
It must be wonderful to have a son...that is so concerned about oil elsewhere...other'n at home and such an understanding family. The "Canookians" should of hired Hunter....cept, he weren't qualified...then again? That don't matter...as you pointed out above.

not about PR.Pudfark wrote:Like I said...ridin' on daddy's coattails.... It'd be better PR, if'n he ran a lemonade stand there.
don't grasp it, do you. Oh, and the nation is about 10 years from energy independance if we keep on current trajectory with NG and clean coal, and keep expanding solar and wind. Hunter's help not needed to coordinate that.It must be wonderful to have a son...that is so concerned about oil elsewhere...other'n at home and such an understanding family.
