4. And that gets to key point #4, and probably the biggest point. The voters, on all sides of the
political divide, are getting really fed up with the status quo, out-of-touch, political class. In a way,
you can trace this all the way back to the election of Obama. How much more of a repudiation of
the status quo do you want that the election of a black guy as President, one who had very little
inner circle Democratic Party connections? Now, this attitude CAN turn out to be a big-time positive
for the nation. A grassroots, throw-the-bums out movement might result in a government that is
way more responsive to the people's will. Time will tell on that one. I still sort of hold the view that
the public isn't patient enough, or smart enough to follow through.

Get past the ideology and think......and try and elect leaders capable of thinking, cooperating and focusing on the real problems.

if that was his gist, he's whacked. I have little faith in Howard Dean. He changes his mind like some folks change clothes. Not to be trusted, IMHO.

try to develop reading skills, please. I am not running for office, but for the State Party Committee. I'm trying to steer the Dems in a functional direction. IMHO, some of them(generally, the far left ones) spend too much time playing victim and have no clue about governing, which involves acting on the consensus of all. And, if they want that consensus to be different, they have to work for it, not whine about it. That is why I'm running, to light fires under some folks. If you paid attention to the things I say, yes I DO support many of Obama's aims, but I do NOT support Pelosi, Reid, Dodd or a host of other elected Dems in Congress. I'm not saying the Republicans have so much as a clue, as they haven't contributed to progress in this country for over a decade, but I decidedly do NOT support the radical left wing of the Dems, either.
