Havent really been looking into computers for a few years but is Alienware still only paying for the brand where as if you went the equivalent specs in another brand you will save like 1000 bucks but do what makes you happy bro

if you find me a 4th gen I7 at 4GHz, 2 Sli 770M with 3GB each, 32 GB memory and two 750 GB hard drives in raid 0 + SSD caching & a 18 screen for 1000$ less, just give a link already I'm all for it!

Since it's a laptop....not many choices available imho.
I ain't an "alien" fan...of their desktops. They are way overpriced.

So Yay.....

I would invest in a good "cooling fan pad" for it....it's gonna get hot....heat kills stuff.

18 might be too big for my tastes. It's more than 5kg

I'll settle for a 17 with a 4800MQ, 32 GB, the two raid 0 HDs with the SDD cache & a 780M

Now if only their side would let me order it without crashing.

I lost a fast laptop to lack of cooling a few years back.
I now use a cooling pad.

I am ordering this puppy when it becomes available.
