A Complete Waste of Space

IMHO... the .22 short "CB Cap"...it's subsonic, less noise than a pellet gun, great penetration and darned accurate...all of course from a rifle...my 50 year old Marlin 39a.....

And it will kill those rascally cats that damage your property. No need for a silencer, sounds like a BB gun when fired from a rifle.

And Ruggie a suppressor question i have the 7615 which is louder than my .300wm now i may be able to get something made up thru a friend of a friend whos an engineer i dont really know him so he is most likely to tell em where to go, but realistically a home made one what sort of sound suppression are you likely to get any ideas?

I wouldn't answer a question like that for legal reasons.

In order for it be "quiet", it needs to be subsonic...If ya like .30...think about wildcat round....30 carbine brass with 220 gr bullet...should be fun to figure out proper rate of twist on barrel....should be fairly quiet...and subsonic.....just sayin.

Soapy....the perfect gun for you would be a "potatoe gun"... You could make it yourself...many plans for it on the Internet....just need some PVC pipe...and glue....then see how far ya can shoot yer dinner....

30 or 338 Whisper on the .221 fireball case

That would get the job done...might be cheaper/easier to use .223 as the parent case? Same bolt dimensions....same chamber...questionable on reaming the neck....just sayin...

.22 LR Hypervelocity rounds work good on Messkins.
