Professional tennis player Vitas Gerulaitis once lost 16 games in a row to Jimmy Connors.
When Gerulaitis finally beat Connors in a game, Gerulaitis said this:
"And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row."
