What happens when the Texas Militia does in fact do the job that the Feds should be doing? What happens when Obama sends the Feds after the militia to get them to stop? We all saw what happened w/ the Bundy’s.
A lot of people think that cops/federal agents are all some sort of Robocop. From experience, and I’m in law enforcement, that couldn’t be further from the truth. There may be 200,000 people in DHS, but that ain’t crap compared to the population. And of that 200,000, there are plenty that aren’t liking whats happening anymore than any of us. And of the remainder, a good number of them signed up for a check and a pension, not a knock down drag out fight with people of this country.
But, what happens, being as arrogant as he is, if he sends some type of entity to stop the militia? He just might have the fight he seems to be wanting. Only, I don’t think it’ll go down quite the way he and his buddies are hoping.
Hope that doesn’t happen, but with the way we’ve all been treated, it certainly seems like its heading that way.

A similar call for volunteers has been issued to my guard unit stating many of the facts listed in that article. I think Perry is going to move this weekend.

I will not heap any abuse on Gov. Perry. This is a good call.
To be diametrically opposed to the feds have consequences, and it has come to the point where you cannot depend on the feds to do the right thing.
My bro works for ICE. We spent the weekend fishing. The states have to act independent from the madmen in DC.
I would suggest each state to load them up and send them to DC. There is plenty of space in the White Hut and lawn to house a few boatloads. Maybe send them to blue states so they can truly show their compassion.

Local militia leaders have not ordered anything - a stand down or otherwise. That’s the whole point. This call-to-action is from a rogue group.
It is premature to head down there until Texas DPS is in place, has eyes-on, and can provide an assessment. Local Texas Militia leaders (at least in my area) want to be asset to DPS not a hindrance. Having a bunch of disorganized yahoos running around will get good people killed.
A coordinated effort is in the works.
