A Complete Waste of Space

I've been digging about operation "jericho" which was actually called operation renovate & jericho was a term invented in 1946 by the brits to try to hide the real goal of the operation.

That's the bombing of the Amiens prison by Mosquitoes, a raid that has been executed brillantly I might add.

I'd seen a BBC documentary about it which concludes that noone knows who ordered this operation. They go so far as to say a RAF officer was sent to figure out why it was attacked.

After Amiens was liberated, the RAF sent one of their officers to the city to find out why the raid was ordered. Squadron Leader Edwin Houghton found out nothing

You even got some family members of flight crews that died in there wondering why the raid was launched.

And yet...

It was Dominique Pontchardier who asked for it; so RAF & BBC, next time you are wondering who ordered one of your air raids. Just google it damnit!

It seems to me that lies would be more convincing if those guys had the same version.

It also seems to me that this french "resistance" bloke used that to embellish his resume. No wonder he became an ambassador & what not afterwards.

This site is complete bollocks. The guy plainly invented that he asked about operation jericho.

I've read the wiki page on his "resistance days", the guy was ramboing everywhere in france while at the same time setting up nation wide intelligence organisations. Yeah right.
