An actual conversation I had with my boss 3 hours ago.

True story.
I'm heading home from work and I call my boss to see about borrowing some manpower from another department for tomorrows job.
After successfully acquiring said manpower, the chat went like this.....
Him: "They say we're going to get slammed tonight and tomorrow."
Me: "Yeah. It's all over the news. Huge storm."
Him: "What's your back up plan?" (he has to ask because I run my own department and he has very little to do with my day to day operations)
Me: "I suppose I'll wait and see how the storm plays out and then make a decision first thing in the morning." I'm always vague with him because I like how he has very little to do with my day to day operations, and I want to keep it that way.
Him: "What if we only get 3 feet?"
Me: "Well, I guess we'll be in at our normal time then."
