nor do I, don't get me wrong......however, I do think that they will get signed up by March 1 and all those that have current plans will be continued until that point.

I live in Texas....you live in America.
The health plans they had were canceled because they become "illegal" under the law.
Obama cannot legally change the law, by himself. Congress is gone until after the first of the year.
With out a signature from both parties, insured and insurer, no contract/policy exists, not to mention a premium paid. Will be interesting to see? How? Obama makes a third party responsible for all of this?
Executive Order? That's illegal.
So, again, what's the "real" plan?
The "apparent" plan is they are all fecked.
Legally.

what I 'suspect' will happen is that the Administration does have the power to grandfather old policies, as do individual states. Now, I'm not sure of this, but that is how I guess it will work. Going along with this, I think you will see some states(Blue, primarily) be VERY cooperative and some(Red) making sure that people get fecked, as they already have with Medicaid and other stuff. That will become a major point in the next election, by the way.

I carefully read what you wrote above. So, you're saying Obama, on his own authority, can make law.
I say absolutely, he cannot. You're saying individual states can defy the law or change the law in their state in 8 days and still be in compliance. Meaning, they will assume the debt/bills/financial responsibility for an unsigned, not agreed upon terms/conditions to be stated later and some unknown time by an unknown authority? Which plan will these folks get and be mandated to pay for? Gold/Platinum/Silver/Bronze or Medicaid?
I do believe, respectfully and sincerely that you don't understand the enormity, complexity and legality of what you say can be.
