well, you recall incorrectly. Bush arrived to a surplus, announced promptly that surpluses were a bad thing, and cut taxes. Instant deficit. He was already fighting in Afghanistan to the tune of 400 billion deficit and started into Iraq for nofuckingreason, to the tune of another 500 billion. That continued for 5 more years, to the tune of a total of around 4 trillion, at which point the economy had gone into the shitter and we had to deal with Katrina. Goodbye to another 2 trillion, on his watch. So, the subsequent 3 trillion we've added sucks big time, I would agree, but 'starting with the Democrats'? Hardly.
As for two wars? I also recall all the present day Democrat naysayers were on board when he tossed our shit in the fan.
and, some of them are no longer in office. That's how we deal with our party's fuckups.
I'll wait and see my argument blow up in your face when the lame ducks shove more of their radical socialist agenda down our throats.
Socialist, right......the same policies that have been enriching capitalists since he got into office? Ask folks with that liquid capital you were trying to grasp in an earlier thread. The Obama Presidency has been nothing but a ride upward in the capital gains world.
Thanks to "forward" thinking people like you, they will have that capability for a couple of months after they get their pink slips.
Who, exactly do you think is getting a pink slip? You'll probably see a slightly worse than usual loss of 25-30 seats in the House, with a net minus 2 in the Senate. Guess who still holds the Presidency and both Houses if my guess is correct? My advice is to go to Dick's Sporting Goods and see if you can buy a net to catch a clue, because you don't have one either on what Obama's about, nor how your country's politics work.
