Both both got fixed, got working well, and became immensely popular. So, it will be with the ACA. What is funny, though, to look back upon, is all the claim that this law was 'communist' or akin to apartheid or slavery, and other over-the-top nonsense. In the rearview mirror of history, it will just be another little step forward for the betterment of the people(although I suspect the next decade will finally bring us true, Universal Healthcare, which would have been easier to implement, although more costly).
It ain't EXACT.
You keep, on purpose, ignoring 5.5 million folks, their families and their futures.
Why?

Moving on.....
The rearview mirror, hindsight and monday morning quarterbacking?
Don't fix the millions getting getting rear ended on the "week end".

Let's address the 5.5 mil ?
What's your plan...?

"In 2013, a typical Canadian family of four can expect to pay $11,320 for public health care insurance."

"Despite talk of wait times reduction initiatives (backed with substantial funding), Canadians face longer wait times than their counterparts in other developed nations for emergency care, primary care, specialist consultations, and elective surgery."

Update

received bill, paid bill, logged onto Highmark BC/BS website, am a registered member. Got an offer for discounted pet insurance on the dog.
Sadly, I just shelled out $1200 for dental work on the old boy.....

I get the feeling you have alienated most people here.

what I've proven is that the site works, the process works, and that sooner or later the whiners and naysayers are going to look pretty stupid. Dog smiles just fine, but, he's old and the molars are starting to go on him(and yes, he always has had bones for teeth cleaning, it's sort of a breed trait). If he REALLY shows his front teeth, he ain't smiling, and it's best to move back a few feet. ;)
