It shows us that the Western Countries have been successful in containing the Muslim terrorists to the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Now if you include those areas you will find that the numbers will be very different. On the other hand the article's author is attempting to minimize the dangers of Muslim extremists in our world and that is not a very smart thing to do!

thanks for stopping by, DH. You are correct, the data is for Europe and the West. No one, even the author is minimizing the risks, but merely pointing out the uneven levels of coverage and alarm.
