How's about this then....
CONGRESSMAN CALLS FOR 'PANDEMIC' FUNDING TO ADDRESS EBOLA OUTBREAK
Thursday at the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health hearing titled, “Combating the Ebola Threat,” Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) said he
will be requesting funding for a "pandemic."
Smith said, "
This is unprecedented. Many people are not cooperating with efforts to contain the disease. There is an information gap. Despite the efforts through cell phone and radio to get the message out, there is a learning curve. as we consider what to do to meet this health challenge, I suggest we get funding levels for pandemic preparedness.
Damn....this guy seems to know you personally, Slick?

As Obama Sends Troops to Contain Ebola, Expert Says 'The Fight Is Lost'
The World Health Organization has declared that the official death toll for West Africa's Ebola outbreak is 2,288 as of September 9, with more than 1,000 deaths located in Liberia. As the nation prepares to welcome thousands of American soldiers to the effort against the virus, the nation's largest newspaper has declared the battle lost, and an Ebola expert says five million could die.
The sentiments published in the Observer echo those of a number of international health organizations about the need for states to participate in the containment of Ebola long before
President Obama's announcement that he would be sending 3,000 troops to Liberia to help develop medical infrastructure to treat those affected. The White House has also asked Congress for $88 million to invest in the development of new drugs to fight Ebola.

So, really Slick, R_D ....you have to admit, now,
Obama is a fool. Why? He don't agree with you.
Further, you'd have to agree that Ebola is a far more dangerous problem than global terrorism.
Why would you have to agree with that?
Ebola gets three thousand boots on the ground....terrorism gets none.
Enjoy

Fecking moron. All we were saying is that there is NO chance of that virus coming here. There is STILL no such chance of any outbreak in the US. What Obama did was(intelligently, I might add) utilize the US military for GOOD in the world for a change.
Oh, and are you still suggesting that we put 'boots on the ground' in Syria, Iraq or the like? How does one put 'boots on the ground' to fight terrorism, Pud?

So...how do ya explain the intelligence of sending 3000 of ours there?
BTW, there's nothing intelligent about Obama or he would of done more, six weeks ago on the ebola crisis. When those 3000 come back...if they're allowed too...ebola free or not? Keep guessing kid...

Don't worry yerself about that...Obama will be ordering those boots...pretty damn quick...to be on the ground, there.
Edit: this just in.....enjoy.
The White House acknowledged Wednesday that President Obama would consider putting U.S. troops in "forward-deployed positions" to advise Iraqi forces in the fight against the Islamic State -- even while insisting U.S. troops would not be sent back into a "combat role" in Iraq. There's yer wishy washy Prezidon't in action...I believe we should coin this for "boots on ground"...we'll just call it what it gonna be a BOG.
