No idea what you're talking about? Cuda makes more sense, and he doesn't make any sense.

If you can't make sense of Pud's wordsmithing, there is no way you are going to understand political discourse; therein lies your problem and confusion Buzz.

dismissing the personal back and forth(I am reminded of Foghorn Leghorn's phrase: A Battle of Wits between unarmed opponents...), and in an attempt to return to the original topic: I am still astounded by HOW many Conservatives just got blindsided by Romney getting whomped in the EC and losing the overall vote soundly. If one follows politics, it is really, really simple. The GOP campaigned in such a way as to ignore almost every growing demographic breakdown of the voting population(young people, hispanics, Asians, women, etc). Coupled with that, Obama had no primary to spend on or deal with at all. He could focus all his team's resources on building a ground-level team of amazing skill, and save his early donations to unload on Romney the moment he sealed the GOP nomination, thus defining him in a negative fashion that the average voter remembered all the way to Nov 6. It would have shocked me if the Electoral College was even close, frankly.

I understand fine. The problem lies in Cuda assuming I was on Obama's side. His defense was Obama' is just as bad. That's not a defense. He wouldn't admit that Romney was a liar, but it was ok, because Obama lied too.Barfly wrote:If you can't make sense of Pud's wordsmithing, there is no way you are going to understand political discourse; therein lies your problem and confusion Buzz.
I guess that was his way of admitting Romney was a liar.
Pud.........I guess in your warped way of looking at things. You think someone calling someone a liar makes them a liar too? You really believe that? Isn't that what you did to me? So, does that make you a.......

Here's some opinion piece on the Obama reelection from the Brits:
From the Telegraph
after a closer look at the votes in the aftermath, I say I have to agree with most of it.
Especially the point about "social fairness" -whatever the fneb that is- is spot on...

Twitter is an inevitable phenomenon of the generation ADS & SMS: Too lazy for a complete letter, too stupid for a complete sentence and too "cool" for the proper use of grammar.
