Meh, and it seems that windows 7 won't allow for more than 2 To anyways.

Crap.

Maybe I could go through a controller or something?

I've installed various programs that actually recognise all 4 To, but I think I'm stuck with windows only recognising 1800GB per drive.

The Intel matrix storage recognises both drives at 3726 Go
The WD DLGDIAG recognises the drives as 4001 GB

The reading I've made on google seems to confirm that witout an UEFI compatible mobo I can't get windows to recognise more than 2GB for a single disk.

I'm checking the drives with DLGDIAG & then I'll try to set them up as a GPT array in windows.

If it doesn't work I'll buy one of these babies & two 2gb drives for data on the computer.

Might be time to put some 'francs' in the bank and do a 'modern' update of your system...just sayin'?
