Agreed that Corsair oughta handle it...if? It's a single rail 12v version.
Sucks...to have to wait fer "customs".... :(

I just received the 690 GTX... still waiting on the monitor though.

Here's my PSU. I wonder if it'll do http://www.anandtech.com/show/2655

Seems to be single 12V rail with 60A :D

I think/hope that will do it Nic.
I don't believe I would do any extensive/long duration graphics "stress" tests....with it?

I run a single GTX 770 4gig card on a 84 amp rail...which is "overkill". It's a PC PowerandCooling 950watt "silver" rated PSU.

I believe you will be ok. I'm really looking forward to your new setup and hope ya write about it here. :)

That link above will get you started...lots of info there.

My monitor is currently at stock speed....I reverted back because of an issue with one "old" game I play....the original "Call of Duty"....I had some trouble with the screen being dark. I may mess with it a bit more in the future....I'm sure, it was a settings issue....only.

I think you have to download new ICC profiles when you overclock it.

This guy explains it in a very boring but thorough way.

Ok me being a weak man I ordered a 860W seasonic platinum modular PSU.

I was also forced to get a lian li HDD rack to put in my 5"1/4 bays because the video card is so big that I had to remove the HDD rack in the box.

That's a mighty fine PSU....it should last you a long time. Seasonic has a great reputation for quality.
My current case over the last three years is/has been and Antec LanBoy Air...don't believe they make them anymore.
It's essentially a mid tower case (non-pressurized) meaning it's pretty much all "screen" material and relies on direct fan placement. I currently have 7-120mm fans blowing on things along with 2-140mm fans for the Corsair H110 CLC and two 80mm fans on the VRM's and North bridge. A few months ago, when I got my GTX 770 and saw the size of it (btw, I named it "little pud" ;) )...I was worried it would fit in the case. The harddrive mounting in my case, allows the Hdd's to be mounted sideways so it was no problem.

Keep us posted on how well your new equipment/components are working....
Battle of Stalingrad is just around the corner?
I've been playing quite a bit of Insurgency and now have my own server...
Maybe see ya on one of these days...
