Yeah...might have some collector interest for sure.
However, most of them will prolly go bang, though shooting accurately, could be iffy.
Most of the one's I've seen from that era..have been 'goose-loose' from wear.
A lot of .45 ACP was made in WII with steel cases...supposed to be shot in the M3 subguns, though a lot was fired in 1911's and it tore them up.
I'm not a collector....though, everybody should have a nice 1911.
