So... who's on your list of favs?
My no.1 fav is Spain, closely followed by Argentina and Netherlands.
Then England, Germany, Italy well the usual suspects...
Soccer World Cup 2010, South Africa

I just hope we make it past the first round so we can beat the poms and get them ready for the ashes

Ah... I almost forgot... you Aussies have one of the coolest footballers on WC... Tim Cahill.
I've read in today's papers that he doesn't feel well when he underperforms on the pitch especially if his team (Everton loses in the process), much worse than other players would feel in such position... not so much because of fans, teammates... but because of his mother who used to yell and threw stuff on him when he underperforms (luckily nowdays he is far away from her).
He also respects other people unlike many of the footballers of that calibre...
I guess that's how you end up with proper family education (respecting your parents and other people).

So far WC was a waste... I even overslept the last half of the France - Uruguay game...
I can't see any of these yesterday teams (S.Africa, Mexico, France, Uruguay) doing anything good in knockout phase.

Well, Korea Republic deservedly took the victory, they dismantled the Greece and look like one firm and cohesive team.
Argentina expectedly overcome the Nigeria obstacle and won 1:0 but not without problems... TBH Nigeria may have easily equalise that one.
And now... the best game of the WC so far... or at least should be.
England vs U.S.A.

Perhaps a bit overshadowed by an unusual results;
...this krap is still going on .
Can't wait for those dumbasses in FiFA banning those ridiculous bee-trumpets.

way to go, France. An uninspired tournament, classless end. Maybe, the Irish did deserve to go instead.....
