a one time strike of lightning. i'm with rd on this one. it's dumb drafting qb's in the 7th. waste of a draft pic. practice squad qb's are a dime a dozen.

Yeah. You wait until the draft is over, then you sign the guy as an undrafted free agent at the league minimum. Drafting him means you have to pay him more.
And if some other team is dumb enough to draft a QB in the 7th and they steal your guy ... you're not really out anything because the backup QB you already have on your roster is better than him. (unless you're the Arizona Cardinals)
Drafting a QB in the 7th round is retarded. Go find yourself a better guy next year or sign an undrafted free agent on the cheap.
