I got his and hers bikes for the wife and I, with the hope the we can escape the grandchildren silently.

Tried riding a bike awhile back and after 50 meters my knees where on fire, there toast!

kinda fearing that myself, although the plan is to get the knees better able to hike the mountains come trout season. Did a 4 mile day last May that almost did my knees and ankles in. Don't want to just be fishing in sight of my car just yet........
