Gaffe Romney pisses it all away.
The tape. The statements. The comments. The blundered statements afterward. The lame attempts to deflect. All those gaffes over the past 3 weeks.
It's over.
The dude is toast. He's become a parody of himself.
How could he have been so stupid?

as you might recall, I watched the GOP primary season unfold and likened the field to a virtual clown-car. On a daily basis, one of the clowns would leap out and spray seltzer down his or her pants. Romney was no different, save that he seltzered himself less often than Newt, Perry, Bachmann or Santorum. Still, he was just another clown, with the real serious players in the GOP, several of whom might have brought real gravitas to the race, sitting this election out. Maybe they knew, or at least had a gut feeling, about the reality of facing an Obama political organization that is scary good at winning elections. Maybe they knew that Obama had really righted a sinking ship of state and might be able to sell more than 50% of the nation on that fact. For whatever reason, you end up with Romney, who David Brooks of the New York Times and Brookings Institute likened to Thurston Howell III. A rich oaf, trying to say stuff he doesn't really believe in, allied with people he really doesn't agree with, up against an organization he can't match.

and...the last four years? Last week, a dead ambassador?
When you can't discern the truth from a gaffe?
Ya need some mirror time....it's all about recognizing stupid, when ya see it.
You could write a book about it R_D? "Reflections of a Idiot".

Re: Gaffe Romney pisses it all away.
tanned, rested and ready. This election is going to be a hoot!!! Obama is up by 9% here in PA, and holding steady, and opening up by 4% in Virginia. If Obama can simply win either Florida, or Ohio, or Wisconsin and Michigan, he wins. Right now, he's leading in all 4, plus close in Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire and others. This all based on polls before Romney made the following statements:
1. 47% of Americans dont want to contribute anything to the nation.
2. Peace between Palestine and Israel is 'essentially impossible'
3. Noting, with visible glee, how the 14 year old girls at his factory in China used to be able to work hard for long shifts,
and were available to work because they lived in dormitories.
Now, the Israeli PM(under severe homeland pressure) is running away from Romney as fast as he can, after stupidly trying to inject himself into the race, only to have gaffemaster Mitt shoot him in both feet by mouthing off.
Sorry, Pud, the Canadian is right. This is over, Romney is toast. You can see it in his eyes. Someone needs to tell Ryan, though...he's starting to get all Palin-like without the good looks.

Re: Gaffe Romney pisses it all away.
WSJ poll has Obama up by 5% among likely voters. Further, from the report:
While none of these numbers is ideal for a president facing re-election, Obama is now tied with Romney (43 percent to 43 percent) on which candidate would be better on the economy. In July, Romney held a 6-point advantage on this question
toast it is. Want butter with that, Pud??

Here's a little "change" for y'all. Might have a little bearing...
DREAMers Will be Ineligible for Obama's New Health Care Law
"In dozens of campaign stops, President Barack Obama has trumpeted young undocumented immigrants, known as DREAMers, as the country’s future and said he wants to do everything he can to help them.
But the latest news surrounding his Affordable Care Act has left many in the Latino community speechless.
A decision was made last month to disqualify young undocumented immigrants – many who will be allowed to stay in the United States as part of a new federal policy – from receiving health coverage under the president’s sweeping health care reform.
That decision was made quietly and only became public Tuesday, when an article about it was published in The New York Times.
The secrecy surrounding the new rule prompted an outcry from immigration advocates who felt like the rug was pulled from under them."

Well, what about that....and the Latino vote? What happened to that "all inclusive" health care? You trust this guy?

Some of use saw Romney for what he was long before others.
Are we happy with Obama? No, but he's still a better choice.
