Frankly, it was the Fw190 Consortium that draw me here ages ago. As the Il2 is for all purposes gone, so is the Consortium too faded into the mists of history. I do read the forum sometimes, and rarely comment on something - but it really might be the time to say bye-bye, finally.
Thanks from me!

Re: Out of interest-around the world
If I remember correctly, adding water/alcohol mixture into the cylinder will eliminate knocking - virtually raising the octane rating of the used fuel. Maybe they've found a nice way selling the low-octane with premium price... assuming this alcohol has been manufactured cheaply enough. A bit alcoho...

Re: Out of interest-around the world
€1.29/liter (Super - 95octane) Save yourself some money, Juha. You probably don't need the octane. At pump there's the choice between 95E10, 95E5(Super), 98E5 and occasionally 102 octanes. Friggin' amateurs. First time I drank vodka with my parents, was when I was 3. Hangovers have gotten worse over the last four decades though.

Re: Eat your heart out lads
Let's split the hairs here - amount of people isn't really the problem, but the _total_ amount of energy we're producing/using! Naturally, if the population is ever growing, and the total amount should stay at the same - it's less energy for an individual. Perfect tool for forming a real '1984'-type...

Re: Eat your heart out lads
Weell, we're using more and more of energy here -> end result is heat -> how fast is earth dissipating it to the space?
I'm not too worried about the actual amount of increase, but of the rate of change!
